anti-wrinkle injections King's Cross

Anti-Wrinkle Treatment

Prescription-only injections that temporarily relax selected facial muscles. The aim is to soften expression lines without freezing the whole face.

What it is and how it works

Anti-wrinkle treatment uses a prescription medicine to temporarily reduce signalling between selected nerves and muscles. Less forceful contraction can soften dynamic lines, including forehead, frown and crow's-feet lines, while untreated muscles continue to move normally.

Dose and placement are planned from your resting anatomy and facial movement, not from a standard set of injection points. A conservative plan protects expression and can be adjusted at review once the full effect has developed.

Who it is for

  • Forehead, frown or crow's-feet lines
  • Clients who want to keep natural expression
  • Preventative or corrective treatment after medical assessment

How treatment is mapped

Upper-face treatment is planned from movement, muscle strength and eyebrow position rather than a fixed injection chart.

  • Forehead lines involve the frontalis, the main muscle that lifts the eyebrows. Dose and placement must preserve enough lift for your anatomy.
  • Frown lines are created mainly by the corrugator and procerus muscles between the brows. Their strength and resting pattern guide treatment.
  • Crow's-feet come from the outer fibres of orbicularis oculi. Treatment follows the smile pattern while protecting natural eye expression.

What results look like

Movement gradually softens and lines look less pronounced. You should still look like yourself, only more rested.

Honest timeline

Change usually begins within several days, develops over two weeks and commonly lasts around three to four months. Individual response varies.

One appointment, with review when clinically indicated. Maintenance is optional and based on your response.

Safety and downtime

Your doctor reviews your medical history, medicines and treatment area before confirming suitability. Treatment is postponed when it would not be clinically appropriate.

Small bumps, redness or bruising can occur. Most settle quickly, although bruising can last several days.

Skin-tone guidance

The treatment can be considered across skin tones. Technique and aftercare are adjusted individually, with particular attention to bruising, inflammation and the risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation.
